SPECIFICATIONS & FEATURES
Heads are made from exclusively processed non-bleached raw hides of cow. Stitches are machine sewn with UV treated heavy cord for uniform stitching and strength. Perimeter of the heads are painted with black industrial grade polyurethane with strong adhesion and attractive appearance. Body is made of Mochizuki Taiko's exclusive super tough low density fiberboard that possess similar physical characteristics of natural wood that produce excellent tone with sustain. Body is finished with tough industrial grade red color polyurethane (hammered finish) that resist minor scratches and wear. Metal rings (inside the heads) are made of hollow steel tubing for strength and light weight. Rings are wrapped with synthetic felt fabric to reduce conductivity of vibration and improve the quality of sound.. Soft textured braided polyester rope provides easy tightening, making knots and long wear. Adjustable shoulder harness are made of extra heavy high quality nylon webbing for long wear.
