Mochizuki Taiko Manufacturing Company, hereafter "Manufacturer" makes the following Limited Warranties and Limited Guarantees. These Warranties and Guarantees extend to the original purchaser hereafter "Customer" (individual or group shown on Manufacturer's Original Invoice) may NOT be transferred or assigned.

MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED GUARANTEE: Manufacturer hereby Guarantees all new stock items with 30-Days Money Back Guarantee from the date of shipment. Special ordered items and non-stock items do not apply. If Customer is not satisfied with our product for any reason, please contact the Manufacturer for return procedure. Returned merchandise must be in original condition for a full refund. Customer agrees to pay for return shipping costs (packing, shipping and insurance) to the Manufacturer.

LIFETIME LIMITED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY: Manufacturer warrants all products to be free from defects on material and craftsmanship for the Life of the product. Manufacturer reserves exclusive rights for the final decision on all Warranty claims: repair, exchange, refund or rejection. No other written or verbal terms, condition of sale, guarantee or warranty is expressed or implied.

DISCLAIMER: Conditions that are NOT covered under this Limited Warranty:

1. Heads (rawhides): Due to the nature of natural animal skin, minor wrinkles, surface texture, minor scars, slight differences in thickness and skin pigmentation. These conditions are considered normal and are not defects. Life of the head due to usage, storage and abuse. Over-tightening of the heads.

2. Body: Wood color, dye, and polyurethane finish: Hardwood, dye and finish are carefully selected and manufactured under manufacturer’s specifications. Due to the nature of natural material: pigment variation, grain variation, minor wood scars and minor finish texture variation may exist. These conditions are considered normal and are not defects.

3. Repair and Re-skin: Manufacturer is not responsible for loss or damages on Customer's taiko beyond reasonable care on repairs and re-skinning order.

4. Taiko Size and Weight: Taiko is hand crafted using natural wood. Slight variation in size and weight are considered normal and are not defects.

5. Tone and Resonance of taiko will change daily due to the temperature, humidity and head wear. These conditions are considered normal and not a defect.

6. Others: Acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, and modification of, or to any part of the product.

Product Safety and Suitability: Taiko and stands are musical instruments designed to be used by responsible adults with caution. Keep infants and children away from taiko and stands to prevent accidents that may cause injuries or deaths.

In no event shall Manufacturer be liable for special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including and without limitation. Damage to other properties or bodily injuries and death caused by any defects in the product, inconvenience, loss of goodwill, lost profits or revenue, loss of use of the product or any associated instrument, cost of substitutive instrument, downtime costs of claims of any party dealing with Customer for such damages, resulting from the use of the product, or any other legal theory.

Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from State to State.

Price, Specifications and Terms of Sale

PRICE & SPECIFICATIONS: Manufacturer reserves the right to alter specifications and adjust prices without prior written notice. Price quotations are valid for 30 days. Listed prices are in US Dollars.

FREE SHIPPING & FREE HANDLING FEE: Listed price includes shipping and handling fees to the Continental US (excludes Alaska and Hawaii). Manufacturer reserves the right to choose the shipping method - common carrier ground transportation via USPS Parcel Post, UPS or Commercial Truck (destination to the nearest major city truck terminal - customer pick-up at the destination terminal).

Additional cost difference for alternate shipping method requested by the Customer: Overnight Service, Door to Door Commercial Truck Shipment, etc. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be for the difference from the standard domestic fees.

SALES TAX: Texas residence, please add 8.25% state sales tax or provide tax exempt form.

EXPORT TO OUTSIDE OF USA: Additional shipping, handling, export crating & documentation fees may apply. Please contact Manufacturer for an estimate.

PAYMENT TERMS: Full Payment must be made with Credit Card, Check, Money Order, Cashier's Check, Bank Wire or Cash prior to shipment. Payment can also be made by “PayPal” by forwarding your payment to email@taikorus.com.

RETURNED CHECKS: Service Charge of $25 will be imposed on all returned checks.

SHIPPING DATE & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: Upon receipt of your order, you will receive an acknowledgement and an estimated shipping date within 24 hours. Inventoried items are usually shipped within two days, however if your order is not in our inventory, shipment will be made upon completion. Please email or call Mochizuki Taiko for availability and lead time.

SPECIAL ORDERS & NON-STOCKED ITEMS: Special Orders and All Non-Stocked Items including repairs and re-skinning: Total amount is due upon Customer's acceptance of Manufacturer's price estimate.
